'Dear Leader' is great for someone who knows nothing about North Korea. If you have already read a lot about North Korea, and aren’t obsessed with the subject, this book is probably worth skipping as there is nothing in 'Dear Leader' that I would consider new. Though, I would consider the writing in this book to be well-written and at times beautiful. Overall, I would give this book four stars.
